World Water Day, celebrated annually on March 22, highlights the importance of freshwater and advocates for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. Water plays a vital role in our lives, supporting ecosystems, communities, and economies worldwide. Yet billions of people live without access to safe water. This year, the theme for World Water Day is “Water for peace.“
