The website of the Science and Development Network (www.scidev.net) is a good source for information and updates about science and technology in the developing world. It is available in four languages and is categorized by region and by topic. Topics include “Climate change and energy” and “Agriculture and environment.”

A section on science communication has various guides for science journalists. This page gives some tips, plus advice on doing local research and knowing your audience.
