CTA, the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation, is inviting photo entries for its competition, Peoples’ Choice Photo on People, Water and ICTs.
Photos of people managing water and technology can be uploaded directly to their website. There are three themes:
- People and water
- Technology and water
- Water and environment
The grand prize is a digital camera plus an opportunity to participate – all expenses paid – in the annual seminar entitled Closing the Knowledge Gap: Integrated Water Management for Sustainable Agriculture. This will be held in Pretoria, South Africa, 22-26 November 2010. The best photos will be on display during the seminar.
In addition to the CANON EOS 1000D EF 18-55 digital camera and the all expenses paid trip to the seminar, the grand prize winner will receive a subscription to CTA’s Spore magazine.
Each category prize winner will be awarded a CANON EOS 1000D EF 18-55 digital camera and a subscription to CTA’s Spore magazine.
