Taboom Media will hold an intensive reporting workshop on how to cover LGBTQI+ issues and religion from Oct. 28 to Nov. 2, 2022 in Cape Town, South Africa.
Participants must be open-minded about the issues and affiliated with news operations where they can make a positive contribution to accurate and ethical reporting on how religion intersects with sexual and gender minorities.
Participants will be required to produce at least one story for publication or broadcast by January 2023.
The organizer will cover flights, food, and lodging.
To apply, applicants must complete the application form, and upload their CV and two work samples.
The deadline to apply is Aug. 16, 2022.
