The Pulitzer Center is offering Ocean and Fisheries Reporting Grants to journalists worldwide who want to report on critical ocean and fisheries issues. This opportunity supports in-depth reporting on topics such as climate change, pollution, biodiversity loss, and underreported areas like deep-sea mining, aquaculture, and marine conservation. The grants aim to promote storytelling that highlights challenges and solutions related to sustainable fishing, food security, and resilient coastal communities.

Applications are open on an ongoing basis, and journalists from the Global South are especially encouraged to apply. Proposals must be submitted in English and include a 250-word project summary, a publication plan, a budget, work samples, references, and a CV.
