Earth Journalism Network (EJN) is offering grants to support reporting and media development activities about coastal resilience. Proposed projects should increase media coverage or train journalists on issues related to coastal resilience, including ecosystem rehabilitation, livelihood and food security, shelter and infrastructure, and land use and development.

Eligible applicants include media organizations, journalist networks, universities, and journalism institutions. Applicants from any country will be considered, but applicants from coastal countries are preferred.

EJN is offering three grants of US $10,000. Applicants must provide a detailed budget that justifies the amount requested. Projects should start in July 2022 and be completed within a 12-month timeframe.

EJN is accepting applications in English, French, and Spanish. Project activities, including the story publication, may be completed in any language. The deadline to apply for a Coastal Resilience Media Grant is May 2, 2022.
