Stanford University in California is offering a three-week program to bring together mid-career professionals in the field of democracy, development, and the rule of law. The program will take place July 12 to 31, 2020.

The fellowship provides a forum for emerging leaders to connect, exchange experiences, and receive training through seminars, readings, and classroom learning. Priority is given to applicants from countries where democracy is new or not well entrenched.

The university will cover travel, accommodation, living expenses, and visa costs.

Applicants must be comfortable speaking English. The deadline to apply is Jan. 1, 2020.
