Atlas for Development is now accepting applications to the second annual edition of 2063 Academy. Agenda 2063 was created in 2013 by the African Union as a 50-year plan to promote development in Africa. The annual event is a platform designed to connect African youth for the realization of Agenda 2063 through business and entrepreneurship.

This year, the event will take place virtually from November 23-28, 2020 as part of African Youth Month. Sessions will focus on climate change and gender equality.

Eligible participants must be African nationals based in any African country and between 16 and 29 years old. Fifteen youth will be selected to participate per country.

After completing the program, participants will receive expert mentoring in entrepreneurship. Participants will be organized into groups of five and collectively given a grant of $250 US to undertake a project in their community.

The event will take place in English.

The deadline to apply is September 20, 2020.
