A Liberian woman died of Ebola in a hospital in Monrovia shortly after being admitted, last week. Dr. Francis Ketteh is Liberia’s Chief Medical Officer. He says this is the sixth confirmed case of the virus since it resurfaced in Liberia last month.

Ebola has killed more than 11,200 people in West Africa since the epidemic began in December 2013. Liberia was declared Ebola-free on May 9, 2015. A new case came to light nearly two months later.
