This resource provides country-by-country information on the different factors related to gender inequalities and land rights. Access to land is one of the major causes of social and gender inequalities in rural areas, and strongly impacts rural food security and nutrition. The database provides a variety of legal information on women’s property and use rights, including Constitutional rights and policies that prevent or enforce women’s land rights.
