To mark its 50th anniversary, the Conservatoire du Littoral is launching a global call for contributions, “Echoes of the Shores – 50 Stories of Coastal Conservation from Around the World.” This initiative invites journalists, professionals, and students worldwide to share stories about the world’s coastlines, focusing on their challenges, beauty, preservation, and history.
This collection will feature 50 contributions—photos, videos, writings, and sound recordings—that tell the story of a coastline and its conservation. Whether it’s an emblematic species, a remarkable event, a key figure in protection efforts, or cultural and heritage values preserved over time, the Echoes of the Shores collection aims to amplify diverse voices in coastal conservation.
Categories for Submission:

Prizes:
- Five winners will receive a special prize in each category.
- The winners will also be invited to participate in an international mission, joining one of the Conservatoire du Littoral’s international cooperation projects.
