Call for applications: NYU journalism fellowship

The Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at New York University (NYU) is seeking applications for the World Journalist Fellowship. Journalists with at least two years of experience, and fluency in English and at least one other language can apply.

The Fellowship funds two semesters of study at one of the master’s programs at the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute for international journalists, as well as a US$13,000 stipend.

Fellows can choose one of 10 concentrations, including:

  • business and economic reporting
  • cultural reporting and criticism
  • global and joint program studies
  • literary reportage
  • magazine writing
  • news and documentary
  • science, health, and environmental reporting

Candidates must also complete the application for the graduate program of their choice. Candidates must complete the GRE and TOEFL tests for admission to NYU.

The deadline for applications is January 4, 2016.
