This week, we are celebrating women. But more specifically, we are celebrating women farmers and their important role in the production of food. This week’s Farm Radio script of the week highlights the importance of listening to women’s concerns about farming and supporting them by ensuring their access to land and credit. As was highlighted in this week’s news stories, women are faced with many difficulties (such as violence and disease). But when given the chance, they can come together and provide for their own food security and that of their families.
