This week’s story from Kenya talks about a disease called stem rust that attacks wheat. Our script of the week discusses a number of practical steps that farmers can take to reduce the overall incidence of disease in their crops.

Simply by choosing a variety of good farming practices such as crop rotation, proper spacing, diversification and good soil management, farmers can reduce the possibility of diseases infecting their crops.
