There are many non-chemical ways to manage agricultural pests. Our script of the week introduces us to an innovative fruit tree planter from Benin who uses ants to control pests such as fruit flies, dust mites, and leaf miners. Since this farmer discovered the beneficial effects of ants, he cannot get enough of them.
