It can sometimes be difficult for radio broadcasters to meet interview subjects in person. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it is risky to report a story on-location or meet face-to-face with people. Fortunately, there are several online platforms that broadcasters can use to safely work at a distance.

These platforms allow broadcasters to conduct interviews, convene story meetings, host panel discussions during live or pre-recorded radio programs, convene community listener groups, and more, all at a distance.
