The African Child Information Hub, or InfoHub, is designed to be a one-stop shop for information on children in Africa. The website is a forum for exchanging information, ideas and experiences on matters relating to children.
The InfoHub features a range of services and feature, including:
- a database of child-focused organizations;
- data on indicators of African children’s well-being – for example, mortality rate, child labour, children living with HIV, and education;
- the African Child e-Newsletter; and
- news; events; and audio and visual resources on children’s rights and issues, including child participation, child protection, child-related laws and policy, and child well-being.
Information on the website is updated and expanded continually, and is available in English and French.
