The European Journalism Centre (EJC) recently published a new edition of Reporting Development: A guide for African journalists. EJC created the guide as a resource for journalists reporting on development issues across Africa.
The guide is a reference of “time-honoured techniques for producing top-quality, high-impact development reportages, while heavily localizing for the particular contexts and constraints that many African journalists face regularly.”
The newest edition of the guide includes sections on the role of data in development, and references to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
