The United Nations Development Program and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization have posted a series of videos, lecture notes, and ongoing conversations about agriculture and climate change on their website. These resources were created for a MOOC (massive open online course) called National Adaptation Plans: Building Climate Resilience in Agriculture. This course is still available online at the link below.

The course contains six modules exploring the following themes:

  • Introduction to climate change adaptation, agriculture, and food security
  • International frameworks and national adaptation planning
  • Identifying and assessing climate change impacts and risks
  • Identifying and prioritizing climate adaptation options
  • Governance, coordination, and finance
  • Communications, monitoring, and evaluation

The course is free. To consult the videos, download the course notes, or participate in the conversation, please see: https://unccelearn.org/
