impactAfrica offers free webinar on measuring story impact

impactAfrica is Africa’s largest fund for data-driven storytelling, a journalistic process based on analyzing and filtering large data sets to help create a news story. The fund is offering $500,000 US to support pioneering data journalism and innovative reporting that tackles development issues such as public healthcare in six African countries: Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, and Zambia.

Journalists may submit a proposal for the first round of impactAfrica funding until April 15, 2016.
