IFAJ and the Agricultural Communications Documentation Center

This week’s Spotlight highlights some of the training and networking opportunities offered by the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists. The IFAJ is a non-profit professional association representing agricultural journalists in 45 countries.

A partnership between the IFAJ and the Agricultural Communications Documentation Center (ACDC) at the University of Illinois, US, provides resources and services for IFAJ members around the world. Although IFAJ members have certain privileges, many of the ACDC’s resources are available to the public online.

The ACDC library contains more than 43,000 agricultural communications documents from dozens of countries. It provides information and research services to students, teachers, researchers, professional communicators, and others interested in communications related to agriculture, food, natural resources, and rural affairs.
