You can find links to four educational podcasts, in English and Karamojong, on how to keep simple enterprise-level farm records, as well as learning resources (podcast scripts, a full trainer manual, hand-outs, and record book templates) at http://www.agritechtalk.org/farm_recording.php.
These resources were developed by AgriTechTalk International CIC, Farm Radio International, and AgriTechTalk Africa, as part of the “Using podcasts as part of a collaborative learning approach to bring about social behaviour change within the farming communities of Karamoja” project, funded by USAID’s Implementer-Led Design, Evidence, Analysis and Learning (IDEAL) programme.
This small project tested the effectiveness of podcasts, played in a social learning environment, in bringing about targeted behaviour change—farm record keeping.
