Farm Radio International has been sharing many radio spots lately: about locusts, COVID-19, and the UN Decade of Family Farming. Radio spots are a useful format to deliver one single, clear message. They can be entertaining, informative, and use various formats—but they are short.

Radio spots are most effective when played regularly throughout a station’s programming, and particularly when they are integrated into commercial breaks, between or during relevant programs, or at any other break in your program schedule.
