Free online resources on COVID-19 from West and Central Africa

The regional working group for Risk Communication and Community Engagement has created a free online library of resources on COVID-19. These resources are context-specific to West and Central Africa, and aim to educate users on topics related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The resources include ready-to-use videos, documents, audio clips, and images from reputable sources such as the World Health Organization. They can be searched by country and by category. Categories include: prevention, solidarity, stay at home, stigma, testing, tips and tools, and vaccines.

Highlights of the resources include:

  • Videos on COVID-19 prevention and advice for kids and families.
  • Brief articles on the science of vaccines.
  • Images that promote the benefits and importance of wearing masks
  • Articles on stopping the spread of misinformation.
