The regional working group for Risk Communication and Community Engagement has created a free online library of resources on COVID-19. These resources are context-specific to West and Central Africa, and aim to educate users on topics related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The resources include ready-to-use videos, documents, audio clips, and images from reputable sources such as the World Health Organization. They can be searched by country and by category. Categories include: prevention, solidarity, stay at home, stigma, testing, tips and tools, and vaccines.
Highlights of the resources include:
- Videos on COVID-19 prevention and advice for kids and families.
- Brief articles on the science of vaccines.
- Images that promote the benefits and importance of wearing masks
- Articles on stopping the spread of misinformation.
These and other resources are available in English, French, Arabic, Bambara, Fula, Hausa, Mina, Pidgin, Portuguese, and Spanish at: https://coronawestafrica.info/.
