MediaWise Campus Correspondents is offering a series of free online courses in digital media literacy to help journalists and the general public learn how to fact-check and identify fake news.
The courses include:
- Fact-checking 101
- Search like a pro
- Verifying photos and videos
- Cheap fakes vs. deepfakes
- Misinformation red flags
Each course is self-directed, so you can complete it on your own time. The estimated time to complete any given course is 20-30 minutes, including time to watch short videos, read the lesson, and complete a brief quiz.
