Nutrition and agricultural are highly linked, as farmers grow what we eat. Small-scale farmers in particular have a big impact on the nutritional status of their families and communities, as what they grow is featured on their neighbours’ dinner plates.
The UN Food and Agriculture Organization has created a self-guided course on the links between agriculture and nutrition. It describes why nutrition is important and how it can be integrated into government policies and activities.
