The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has created a database of almost 100 journalism schools across Africa. The database provides information on the languages of instruction, brief histories of each institution, links to institution websites, and other contact information.

You can also search the database by specialization. For example, here are the search results for institutions that specialize in radio: http://www.unesco-ci.org/cgi-bin/asj/search.cgi?query=&specialisation=Radio;d=1.

The full database can be found online, here: http://www.unesco-ci.org/cgi-bin/asj/page.cgi?d=1&g=1.
