There are 40 fellowships available in this year’s Climate Change Media Partnership. The deadline for applications is July 11.
The fellowship will begin in July 2010. The main element of the fellowship is support to attend the UN climate change negotiations in Cancun, Mexico, from 29 November to 10 December 2010. Fellows will spend two weeks reporting on the negotiations, and will take part in editorial and thematic mentoring and training with senior environment editors and experts on climate change policy and science. There will be opportunities to network with journalists from all over the world.
The fellowships are open to working journalists in print, radio, television or electronic media. To qualify, applicants must live and work in Africa, and be competent in English.
