UNFCCC/CDM African Radio Contest 2011

    In anticipation of the 2011 climate change conference in Durban, South Africa, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is launching an African radio contest. The theme of the contest is “Changing Lives.” The contest is intended to raise awareness about climate change issues and the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol.

    You are invited to create a five-minute radio piece that answers the question: “How can my community/city/country benefit from the CDM?”

    The contest is open to all broadcasters and freelancers in Africa, with a deadline of  August 10, 2011. Full details at:
