Media organizations are invited to apply to The Open Society Initiative for West Africa media grant. This grant will support investigative journalism projects in Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Senegal.
Possible project themes include: strengthening the food security and agricultural system in the context of climate change, natural resource management, accountability, regional economic integration, drug policy, human rights and good governance practices, justice reform, and digital rights.
The grants are available to local organizations based in West Africa.
The deadline to apply is April 30, 2016.
