    Applications are now open for this year’s Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowships. Approximately 200 fellowships will be awarded, each of which will provide ten months of academic study in the United States. Fellows are selected for their leadership potential and commitment to public service. The fellowships are awarded to mid-career professionals in a variety of disciplines, including “Agricultural and Rural Development” and “Communications/Journalism.” Applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree, a minimum of five years of full-time, professional experience, limited or no prior experience in the United States, demonstrated leadership qualities, a record of public service in the community, and strong English skills.
