State of the Union journalist competition

Journalists reporting on human rights and governance issues relating to the African Union are invited to apply to the State of the Union journalism competition. The State of the Union is a coalition of civil society organizations advocating for the ratification and implementation of African Union treaties and standards.

Applicants should submit a recently published article related to one of four categories: corruption, food security, women, or youth. Applicants must be from Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, or Tunisia.
