Scholarship for five-week journalism course

Journalists from around the world can apply to attend a five-week digital and multimedia journalism course in London, England, offered by the Thomson Foundation.

One winner will receive a scholarship to cover all expenses, with a value of £11,000 (US$13,310).

The course runs from Aug. 6 to Sept. 7, 2018. It includes master classes, workshops, and practical training, as well as a one-week placement at a leading UK media organization.

To take part in the competition, journalists must enroll in the Thomson Foundation’s Journalism Now online study program and complete at least five online courses. They must also submit examples of their work.

The deadline to apply has been extended to June 1, 2018.
