The Rockefeller Foundation presents its 2013 Centennial Innovation Challenge, now open to journalists worldwide. Journalists with a creative idea that addresses global needs can apply for grants up to $100,000 US.
The competition is designed to discover and reward ideas that address global needs through a variety of geographies, perspectives and contexts. Judges will select up to 15 finalists, who will receive recognition on the centennial website. Finalists will be invited to apply for grants to further develop or implement their ideas. They will also receive expert support to refine their ideas and develop grant proposals.
Deadline for applications is April 1, 2013.
