Religions for Peace Global Conference

The World Health Organization (WHO) is hosting a Religions for Peace Global Conference from October to December, 2021. The aim of the conference is to bring together the WHO and global faith partners to achieve joint health goals and mitigate the negative effects of health emergencies such as COVID-19. 

The conference will: 

  • Convene representatives of national governments, faith groups, WHO offices and other stakeholders   
  • Facilitate the exchange of experiences and lessons learned from health emergencies 
  • Identify good practices for collaboration between these actors during the COVID-19 pandemic and inform the response to future public health emergencies  

The conference is held in English, with  simultaneous translation available in French, Spanish and Arabic. 

Registration is free, and participants can select to attend any number of the available sessions.
