Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellowship

The National Endowment for Democracy is inviting activists, journalists, civil society leaders, and scholars from around the world to apply for the Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellowship. This is an opportunity to spend five months in Washington, DC, and undertake independent research on democracy in a particular country or region. The successful candidate will work out of the International Forum for Democratic Studies.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage with other fellows, conduct research and writing, consider best practices, and develop professional relationships. The fellow will also work on a project related to democracy in their country or region, and submit a written product at the end of their fellowship.

To apply, fill out the applicant information, and submit a project proposal, letters of recommendation, and a resume. The application must be completed in English.

Applications are due by Oct. 15. Applicants will be notified of the competition’s outcome by mid-April.
