The Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program invites applications for its international practitioner program. The program offers democracy activists and journalists from around the world the opportunity to spend five months in residence at the National Endowment for Democracy in Washington, D.C. There, they will undertake independent research on democracy in a particular country or region. Fellows usually work towards producing a report, short article, handbook, or another product.
Applicants should have substantial practical experience working to promote democracy or human rights in their country of origin or interest. A working knowledge of English required. Deadline is October 15, 2012.
