Media Monitoring Africa has launched the Isu Elihle (Great Idea) Awards, which will provide media professionals with an opportunity to report on children’s issues. The competition is designed to support innovative reporting and insightful investigations that help give children a voice and promote children’s rights.
Journalists from eastern and southern Africa are invited to submit story ideas. Three ideas will be chosen, and these journalists supported to produce their stories. The finalists will receive cash prizes.
This award is presented in partnership with Media Network on Child Rights and Development and Save the Children International.
Story ideas must be submitted by Nov. 3.
