Dispatches International is a quarterly journal of current events published by approximately two dozen student journalists from around the world ( The publication is interested in developing its reporting staff in Africa. Thus, from June 15-22, 2010, Dispatches International will host eight ambitious student journalists from across Africa at a Reporter Development Conference (RDC) in Kampala, Uganda.

The conference will expose student journalists to the intricacies of journalism so that they are well-equipped to work as reporters and contribute feature articles to Dispatches International.
