Apply for a Knight International fellowship and contribute to improving the quality and free flow of news around the world!
Funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the year-long program sends experienced international media professionals to countries where there are opportunities to promote reliable, insightful journalism that holds officials accountable.
Among the fellowship openings this year are: a multi-country media development project based in Kenya, a broadcast media development project in Liberia, a media project to help journalists report on how governments in Africa are adapting to climate change, and a project to mentor and train journalists to improve the quality, quantity and impact of health coverage in Nigeria.
The deadline to apply is May 9, 2011.
