Kiplinger Fellowship in social media: Deadline November 30

    The Kiplinger Program at Ohio State University, USA, invites applications from international journalists for its one week fellowship in social media. The course is designed to help journalists understand and use new online tools, as well as digital and social media. Tools and concepts such as deep web searches, digital footprints, the backchannel, RSS and more will be explored.

     The course runs from March 30 to April 6, 2011. Lodging and a travel stipend are offered.

    To apply, journalists must have five or more years of experience at a news organization, and be able to work in English. The deadline for applications is November 30, 2010. Successful applicants will be notified by January 15, 2010.
