The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) is inviting applications for InfoCongo’s Feature Stories Fund. InfoCongo uses geo-referenced information, mapping, and data visualization to tell stories.

Journalists, photographers, video producers, and interactive storytellers who are interested in reporting on environmental issues in the Congo Basin can submit an application until February 13. EJN will consider proposals in French and English, ranging from US$500 to US$1500.

Funding covers travel costs, fact-checking and database access, and translation costs. It does not cover the cost of offices or equipment.

Professional journalists, freelancers, and students currently in a journalism program may apply.
