ICFJ Anywhere is an online source of high-quality journalism courses taught by seasoned professionals. Journalists worldwide who are interested in learning how to optimize their use of Twitter as a professional tool can attend a free webinar on November 18, 2015.

The webinar will highlight best Twitter practices and provide examples of the potential hazards of Twitter. In an hour-long session, ICFJ Knight International Journalism Fellow Chris Roper will discuss Twitter’s capacity to reinvent journalism for media companies, and how this will affect their editorial and business sides.

Mr. Roper is a veteran digital strategist with more than 15 years of experience in different newsrooms. He most recently held the position of editor-in-chief at the South African newspaper, Mail & Guardian.

Participants can interact with Mr. Roper and other participants in a question-and-answer format by sending in questions via YouTube chat or this Twitter hashtag: #icfjdigital.

The webinar will be hosted through a Google+ Hangout which will be created on the day of the event. Anyone can join the webinar at 10 a.m. EST (3 p.m. UTC) on November 18, 2015, via this link: https://plus.google.com/+IcfjOrg/posts
