impactAfrica is hosting a series of webinars to inform journalists about key development issues. The second in the webinar series will focus on early childhood growth and development, an important topic that touches on health, nutrition, and education.

Participants will discuss how journalists can use measurements of children’s health and development to report on poverty and its negative, lasting impacts into adulthood.

The webinar will review evidence on the importance of early nutrition and stimulation for young children, the effectiveness of different approaches, and the programs being studied to address these issues. Participants will have the opportunity to ask World Bank experts questions about childhood development issues.
