Investigative journalists in six African countries are invited to apply for an impactAfrica grant to expose under-reported social development issues. Winners will receive a cash grant, technology support, and editorial mentoring to support their data-driven project. The focus countries are Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, and Zambia.

Ten semi-finalists will be selected to attend a StoryCamp to refine their project plan. They will receive up to $20,000 to support their digital reporting project.

Pitches must be submitted in English, but the final project may be produced in any language.

The deadline for pitches is Nov. 14.
