The United Nations is inviting journalists between the age of 22 and 35 to apply for a fellowship. This opportunity supports journalists from developing countries who want to report on UN priority issues such as peace and security, sustainable development, human rights, and climate action.

Eligible applicants must work as journalists. After completing the program, fellows are expected to continue working in journalism, as well as to promote better understanding of the United Nations in their home countries.

Up to 15 fellows will be selected for the 2021 fellowship, which will be hosted online.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to listen in on special briefings, interview senior UN officials, and network with their fellow participants.

The deadline to apply is June 15, 2021. The application form is available only in English.
