The Institute for the Advancement of Journalism is offering a course on Reporting on Elections for Radio, designed for radio reporters and producers planning to cover the South African national elections. The course will cover the following topics: How do journalists prepare for reporting on the elections? Which topics are relevant for voters? How do journalists report on party programs instead of just covering campaigning events? What interviewing tips and tricks can journalists use to get direct answers?
