Journalists from around the world are invited to apply for a fellowship program on biodiversity and conservation, coordinated by the Earth Journalism Network.

Selected participants will attend a day-long workshop that covers biodiversity issues and conservation solutions, as well as tips for reporting on these topics. Participants will then attend the World Conservation Congress, where they will report on news from conservation organizations, governments, and researchers.

The fellowship and conference will take place Sept. 1-5 in Hawai’i. Travel expenses and lodging will be covered.

The deadline for applications is April 30.

Applicants must have a record of reporting on scientific or environmental topics, and be fluent in English. Applicants must also submit a letter from their editor or media outlet supporting their application.
