Stem van Afrika is a Dutch foundation which supports community radio in Africa. The foundation recently announced a new call for proposals to support innovative projects which aim to reinforce the community radio landscape in Africa.

All community, local and associative radio stations and radio networks in Africa may apply, as well as African organizations that are developing support programs for local and community radio stations in Africa.

Applications should focus on one of three areas: health, environment, or stimulating entrepreneurship.

The first step is to complete and submit a concept note on the project/initiative. A full application will be required only if the concept note is selected. Applicants must use the standard form available on the Stem van Afrika website.

Submit concept notes as an email attachment to: Proposal@stemvanafrika.nl

The deadline for submissions is September 30th, 2012.
